With only 31 calories per cup its a delicious snack that you can feel good about. There are so many ways to enjoy the health benefits of popcorn and so many additional ingredients you can mix it with for added flavor and well being.
Here are some delicious popcorn inspired recipes that taste as good as they are good for you.
Ingredients:
Jolly Time Popcorn Kernels
Thrive Spray Algae Oil or 1-2 TBSP Thrive Algae Oil
I Pan with a see through lid ( Cuisinart or Red Copper Pan)
Additional / Optional Ingredients (choose one or more to your preference)
Himalayan or Sea Salt
Black or Crushed Red Pepper
Old Bay Seasoning
Shredded Parmesan Cheese and Garlic Powder / Salt
Barbecue Seasoning Spice
Paprika
Chili Powder & Fresh Lime
Directions:
Spray or coat a pan with Thrive Algae oil
Add in 1-2 cups of kernels (depending on size of pan)
Cover lid and turn heat on medium to high depending on your burner.
After the kernels pop remove from pan and set aside in a bowl for 30 seconds.
Season to taste adding in a little spray of the Thrive oil if necessary.
Serve and enjoy.
